The AASCA Executive has initiated an accreditation framework for barista and coffee training.
This is envisaged as covering trainers, courses, training facilities, and may reintroduce a barista accreditation scheme (previously developed in 2007).
A sub-committee has been established under the leadership of Vice President Penny Wolff to review previously adopted standards and provide leadership, in establishing a clear point-of-excellence and market-differentiation for AASCA accredited training.
