    Con Haralambopoulos

Con Haralambopoulos has a career in cafes that spans over two decades.

He is one of Australia’s leading baristas and enjoys competing at both a national and international level. He holds the title of World Latte Art Champion for 2008.
His free-pouring skills have impressed judges and his win in Copenhagen was confirmation of his great talent as well as his love of specialty coffee.

A lot of Con’s time has been devoted to discovering different blends and his aim is to create specialty hand crafted coffee. His competition blend named Gridlock Coffee, which was a huge success in Copenhagen, also won him a bronze medal for the espresso category at the Golden Bean competition. This is held annually against 150 other roasted coffees in Australia.

Con and his brothers currently operate a cafe in Richmond called 7 Grams which he finds particularly enjoyable. He says there is always something new to learn about coffee and Australia is definitely up there leaving its mark in the face of tough coffee competitions.
