High Trees Estate was awarded the "National Champion Award - Champion Coffee", Gold Medal in 100% Single Origin Plunger Coffee class, and Bronze Medal in the Cappuccino Classic International Style.
Chisholm Specialty Coffee was awarded the "Champion Tasmanian
Coffee Award" and a Silver
Medal for Cappuccino Classic International style.
Five Senses Coffee won Bronze Medal in the Plunger Coffee, and Bronze Medal in the 100% Single Origin Plunger Coffee classes
Pioneer Coffee won Bronze Medal for Cappuccino Classic International style.
Oomph Coffeewon Bronze Medals in the Plunger Coffee class.
2006 Superior Drop At the recent AASCA National Conference, Prizes were awarded fro the best three Australian coffees entered in the inaugral Superior Drop coffee contest:
International commendation AASCA Member Origin Traders are the importers of award winning Merthi Mountain Selection 9, which won the Fine Cup
Competition 2006, in May in Berne, Switzerland. This coffee won the India's Finest Arabica award. The Estate that produced this coffee
is located at an altitude of 4000 ft in Southern India, and has previously won
Finest Cup award in Indian Fine cup competition as well. The coffee bagged
the honour at the final cupping session organised by the Coffee Board and
co-incided with the World Coffee Conference and Exhibition, and 7th World Barista Championship held
on May 12th 2006.
